Embrace the unknown
Good morning. I’ve been thinking about how much easier it is to be grateful for where you’ve been.
In hindsight, it’s clear to see the experiences, places, and people who’ve changed your life and shaped you.
But what about being grateful for where you’re going?
What if we embraced the unknown and were grateful for the current journey? Life’s a pretty amazing ride. And the present, in all its messiness, is shaping you into a stronger person too.

Still Cooking Every Night? These Freezer Meals Save 5+ Hours a Week
Stock your freezer to save your sanity—It’s the ultimate prep list for stress-free nights.
Our culture thrives on freedom and independence. And this is a beautiful way to live.
But sometimes, it also leaves us feeling more isolated and alone.
You see, an independent woman (or man) still needs people. It’s hardwired into us for happiness.
In times of success, how much sweeter is it to celebrate with those you love?
In times of hardship, how much better is it to be lifted when you can’t seem to lift yourself?
And what about all the moments in between? These simple moments of connection are what you will think of when your life has played out. You won’t relive how much you worked or all the good shows you watched.
You will think of…
- the pizza nights with the kids.
- The nature walks with your partner.
- And the coffee shared with your best friend.
Success without connection is a hollow, lonely victory.
Something to think about as you go through your week:
Money gives you freedom and options. But it means nothing without people to share it with.
Ask for something you need this week.
Maybe that’s:
- help with the kids
- a raise or flexibility at work
- a discount
Whatever it is, gather your courage and ask for it! You’ll be surprised by how painless it is once you just do it.
I live this day true to my visions of what I want my life to be.
How can you improve both your finances and your relationships this week?
