Microwave S’mores Gift In A Jar
For this gift I used:
- 16 oz mason Jars
- Ribbon (but you could also use jute twine)
- A hole punch
- Printable gift tag below
Ingredients for The Jar:
- Graham Crackers (crumbs and pieces)
- Hersey’s Chocolate Bar (I used about one and a half regular sized bars per jar)
- Mini marshmallows
Estimated Cost Per Jar: ~$3-5 per jar
How To Make The S’mores In A Jar Gift
You’ll layer your ingredients:
- Start with your graham cracker. I crumbled some to use for the bottom to give it a nice even layer to start.
- Break apart your chocolate bar and add the chocolate pieces to make a layer.
- Add a layer of mini marshmallows.
- Continue layering in this way until you reach the top of your jar.
- Seal the jar and attach your printable gift tag with twine or ribbon.
Note: The first time I made this gift, I used all graham cracker crumbles. It’s delicious, but not as pretty looking in the jar (the crumbles get through the layers). The second time, I used the crumbles for the bottom, and did larger pieces in the other layers. See which way you like best!
To Enjoy The Treat:
Eat it as is, dump it into bowls to share with a friend, or pop it in the microwave for a gooey delight!
