Take my word

Good morning,

I’ve been thinking about routines and habits lately. We’ve been shifting the family schedule at home. And it’s a beautiful time to tweak what isn’t working and lean into what does.

The world wants us to stay in a box.

We hear things like…

“Stay in your lane” – because it keeps you from making others uncomfortable.

“Be grateful for what you get.” You shouldn’t want more. (But there’s a difference between being appreciative and settling for less.)

“Act like a lady” -Which often means smile and be quiet. Even if it smothers your soul.

Today, I encourage you to dream expansively. Don’t be limited by the invisible barriers of society.

But then keep your focus small.

It’s

  • 5 minutes of strategic thinking time
  • Reading one article
  • Having one important conversation

That way you don’t feel paralyzed. Because at the end of the day, goals are achieved by taking action. Even the smallest movement counts in moving you from here to there.

It’s the only way to break out of the box.

Make one money move this week!

What’s a money move?

Any action you take that moves you closer to your wealth goals. That could be….

You decide what’s right for you – and then make a move!

I solve problems and overcome challenges.

Would you rather be debt-free or use debt strategically to leverage wealth?

Why don’t the bees ever want to spend any money?

It’s because they all are stingy.
